Poem-Self Acceptance

Self Acceptance

I see myself as laid-back,
You claim that I am lazy.
I think that I am right-brained,
But you insist I’m crazy.

I will not rush, on principle,
But you think I’m just slow.
You come up with “solutions”,
While I say, “I don’t know.”

And yes, you’re more successful,
But this, I know, is true:
Despite my imperfections,
I’m glad that I’m not you.
