Exorcism of the Whirling-Girl Dervish

When pain and fear and sadness loom
and when I'm full of squeezing doom
and smothered by a heavy gloom,

To free me from the stain of sin
and loose the devil from within
when I'm possessed, I spin, spin, spin!

Ruth Powers, 2009

Yes, I know this poem is weird. I'm putting it out there anyhow.

  1. If that's the case, then I'm right weird with it! Oh how I relate! We spin and crack the whip till we're twirling with colored streamers girlfriend! Love it!
